New dashboard

After months of testing and designing, we are delighted to introduce an all-new look for Pagemodo’s internal site! Starting this week, Pagemodo users will be greeted by a colorful new dashboard when they log in to manage their social media pages. This new look is now available to all English language users, and is being rolled out to everyone else as we speak.

Why the change?

A big part of our mission here at Pagemodo is to help small business owners save time. Whenever our designers and engineers are working on something new, we start by asking how that feature will make it easier for entrepreneurs to handle their social media marketing and get back to running their business.

As Pagemodo has continued to grow and add new social media marketing tools, we were concerned that the product might become unwieldy for busy users to navigate. So, we decided to bring everything together into one convenient dashboard. As you’ll see below, this allows marketers to see everything the need at a glance. We are already seeing positive results from our beta testing of this improvement. For example, there has been a definite increase in the use of Post Designer, which is now easier to access!

So, what’s new?

Upon logging in, users with the new look will see a full dashboard. Let’s look at an overview of the dashboard, and then we’ll break out some important new areas.

In this view, you’ll see a new permanent lefthand navigation bar, alerts about any profile tokens that need to be updated, social media tool icons, and more. Your account details, links to support, and profiles are all still available in the top right corner dropdown.

Lefthand navigation bar:
We hate wasting time looking for stuff too, so we have gathered everything you need and placed it in this lefthand navigation bar. Here you can easily switch between your personal profile and your pages, return to the dashboard, view leads and contacts you’ve acquired, and access all of your social tools. This space was designed especially with our Agency users in mind, to help them keep track of multiple pages and profiles more easily.

Tool launch menu
In the center of the page, you’ll find a quick-start menu of icons to help you launch your next marketing tactic, whether it’s creating a new cover photo, setting up a custom tab, introducing a contest, scheduling a post, or creating a social post design.

Activity dashboard
Think of this area as the hub for your social media marketing activities. This view on the main dashboard page shows a snippet of the last post you created, how many posts you have scheduled, your cover photo, how many custom tabs you’re using, and any contests you’re currently running.

Suggested content & new themes
This area is found either on the far right or the bottom of the dashboard, depending on the user’s screen size. It’s a great way to get alerted to little-known holidays or other timely content that users might want to share with their followers. This section is also updated each time a new theme is added to our Cover Photo Designer and Post Designer tools to encourage users to try our latest designs.
