How often do you find yourself staring at the screen, not sure what to post next to your followers on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn? If you’re serious about social media marketing, it could be up to five times a day. For small business owners, it’s simply not feasible to stop what you’re doing that often to share something on social media. And even if you could, it takes time to search your favorite news outlets for relevant, high-quality content to share.
We created the Pagemodo mobile app so small business marketers could easily share and schedule content in a way that it fit into their busy days. Now that we have the “how” figured out, we decided it was time to help with the “what” to post.
Today we’re incredibly excited to announce the addition of the Discover content tab to the latest version of the Pagemodo iOS App! By tapping this tab you can quickly browse popular content, find great articles, and schedule them to your queue all within a single app. You can see every step below (click image to enlarge).
Content has been the most popular feature request to date and we can’t wait to see how it helps our users engage followers on Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
Here’s what’s new you’ll find under the new Discover tab:
Popular topic categories: Quickly find articles that are relevant to you, your business category, or the topic you’re interested in posting about.
Trending content: A collection of the top trending social content (right this minute!) on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and Google+. When you share this content, you can be confident that likes, shares, favorites, and retweets are in your future.
Automatic post formatting: Find a piece of content you think your followers will enjoy through the new content tab? We’ll automatically format the text, images, and links for Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, saving you lots of time getting things just right. You can even choose which pictures from the article to feature in your post.
Responsive search: User-friendly, intuitive search to help you discover specific social content. We’ll also store the terms you use most in your search history to help you save even more time in the app.
