Are you having trouble focusing on the task at hand? Great, put that down and check out this great infographic we found this morning!

The folks over at have created a wonderful flow chart with dozens of recommendations for improving your productivity, arranged into seven areas of life. They are:

Just in case you really do have a busy and productive morning planned, we’ll highlight a few of our favorite suggestions from the chart:

1. Tech: Limit email replies to one per minute. This may sound like an easy one, but on a busy day you’d be surprised how many times in just a few minutes you dropped what you were doing to respond to an email right away. It can wait until you get to a stopping place!

2. Schedule: No meetings unless they are decisive. There’s certainly something to be said for a good brainstorming session, but meeting on a topic without a clear goal for the meeting can be a frustrating and intrusive waste of time. Once everyone has their marching orders, make sure that you don’t schedule endless ‘check-in’ meetings where nothing is decided.

3. Mind: Do a bad first draft. You can’t edit a blank page. Man, is this ever true. Sometimes just getting the basic idea down on paper (on the screen) can get you or your team unstuck just enough to get the ideas rolling. Editing is easier than great writing. So do some mediocre writing, and then edit it really well!

What are some of your favorite timesaving hacks?  A personal favorite of ours is, of course, Pagemodo Posts. This tool allows you to sit down and focus briefly on your social media posts for the week, schedule them all, and forget about it until next week.
