New features just keep on rolling! Today we are announcing that Pagemodo users can now create iFrame tabs.

Not sure what  an iFrame tab is? Simply put, this tab will allow you to pull website content by linking your Pagemodo custom tab to any URL address. For example, if you wanted to display your website directly on your Facebook fan page, now you can! All you have to do is enter your site URL and presto, your fans have direct access right on your fan page. Here’s an example of how Pagemodo’s website would look like within a published iFrame:

What to put in an iFrame?

  • Websites
  • Contact forms
  • Sign-up forms
  • Surveys
  • Blogs
  • Product listings
  • Campaign landing pages

How to create an iFrame tab using Pagemodo:

    1. To get started, click on the “New Tab” option from your dashboard
    2. Select Simple Themes
    3. Select the “Custom iFrame” tab option
    4. Go to the Edit Content and click on iFrame box.  You’ll then be able to enter the website address in the form.  You will also be able to adjust the height of the page being inserted into your Facebook page.

PLEASE NOTE: When entering your website URL don’t forget to add http:// portion of the address.
    5. Publish and Viola — You are all done.

Take advantage of this great new feature by showcasing your website, taking followers to a specific product page or any other page to which you wish to drive your fan traffic. Have an example of a great iFrame? Share in the comments below!
