Today’s post comes from the Pagemodo Design Team!

When we were all planning this release of Pagemodo Post Designer, we wanted to help the team create not only a better photo editor for social media, but also an improved beta experience for our users. We listened to everyone’s feedback, and also used the tools extensively ourselves as designers. While many of our users enjoy Pagemodo for personal projects, there are also lots of marketers and designers using our tools. We wanted to make sure it stood up to their standards. read more

Today we are delighted to announce the latest edition of Pagemodo Post Designer! Since launching the initial beta version of this tool a few months back, we’ve been gathering feedback from our users in order to make sure the final release is exactly what they need. While we still have a few exciting items to add to the finished product, today’s beta update offers lots of new features and a whole new look for the design interface. But before we get ahead of ourselves, let’s start with a brief recap: read more

The team here at Pagemodo is kicking off the new year with a new feature. We’ve updated and improved the way Pagemodo Posts users can share their social posts across available networks.

With the newly designed interface, users select the layout of their post, the networks they want to share it on (Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn), the text to accompany the post, and the thumbnail image that will be shown alongside it. They can then choose to post now, or add it to their post queue to be shared later. read more

To be honest, we’re a little sad to say goodbye to 2013. It was truly one of our most exciting years yet here at Pagemodo. The feedback we gleaned from customers and industry experts helped us create some exciting tools that can really have an impact for our users and their businesses.  Today we’re going to review those new tools as part of our series looking back at what happened in the social media space in 2013.

In March, we were delighted to finally release Pagemodo Posts, which really introduced a new role for Pagemodo in our users’ marketing efforts. With custom tabs and cover photos, we were primarily helping users improve the look, feel and functionality of their Facebook business pages. With Posts, however, we wanted to improve the way that brands communicate with their followers. Posts makes it easier for marketers to find, share, and schedule high-quality content from across the web, improving the experience of content sharing for the marketing and the Facebook audience. read more

Over the past year, Pagemodo users have been telling us they need help creating visual, engaging images for their social media posts. There are 3 reasons for this:

–  Not everybody has the design eye to create highly appealing, professional marketing images
–  Professional tools like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator are pricey
–  Hiring a designer is expensive and slows down the process

One thing is clear: there is a big advantage to creating visual marketing designs. Users are 44% more likely to engage with content on social media that contains pictures (Hubspot). Not only that – photo posts generate 53% more likes than the average post and 104% more comments than the average post, too.  And as Facebook Ads become more important, and social networks like Pinterest and Instagram keep growing, the importance of a professional image has never been greater. read more

Since launching Pagemodo Posts, our exciting new content posting tool, we have seen a great response from our users. To date, posts created using Pagemodo Posts have been seen by over 30 million Facebook users!

We’ve also been collecting feedback from Pagemodo users since day one, and we’ve used those comments to revamp Posts with more of what you’ve asked for – suggested content.

In addition to some dashboard changes (like improved Post preview) that will be rolling out soon, our main focus has been adding more options and improved time-saving features to help users create even better posts with more tailored content for their fans and followers. New posting features you’ll see today include: read more

You may have heard that we recently launched a brand new tool (because we’re so excited we can’t stop talking about it).

We been getting some questions from our users about the creation of Pagemodo Posts, so we thought we’d sit down and get some answers for you directly from the source: Pagemodo’s General Manager Alfredo Ramos.

What motivated the team to create Pagemodo Posts?
“It was a natural progression for Pagemodo. We came to life as a company by building a product that helped businesses customize their Facebook Page using custom tabs. We received a lot of positive feedback from our users, saying that we’d simplified things that were previously impossible for them to do because they lacked the technical or design skills to do so. read more

Last week we promised you something big was coming from Pagemodo, and today we are delighted to announce its arrival!

Pagemodo Posts is the newest addition to Pagemodo’s suite of tools that help small business marketers get the most out of their social media efforts. Pagemodo’s other products – Cover Photo Designer and Custom Page Apps – help users design and optimize their Facebook page, and Posts completes the package by helping users find, schedule and post the content that will engage their followers. Another exciting feature of Posts? It’s Pagemodo’s first product that also works with Twitter. read more

If you’re reading this blog right now, you probably already know that social media is an incredibly important marketing arena for small business owners. But knowing that you should be doing something, and having the time and resources to do it are two very different things.

We’ve shared hundreds of articles offering advice on how to create a successful social media presence. But sometimes the question isn’t how, but when?

We have observed that Pagemodo users who run small businesses are long on enthusiasm for social media, but are always short on time. In a recent survey by eVoice, small business owners reported that the single most valuable asset to their business was time – not their computer, not their website, not their storefront location. We realized that the most important thing we could do right now for our small business users was not to give them more advice; what they really need is more time. read more
